Cary (Windham Beacham) and Vogel (David Alanson) are a couple hitchhiking across country to “re-connect” in their relationship. They get picked up by Brewster (Benjamin Lutz), a trucker trying to stay awake as he delivers a mysterious load of coffins as a favor for his brother who has disappeared. When the pre-programmed GPS leads them to a junk yard in the middle of no-where and the truck breaks down, the three are trapped for the night as the contents of the coffins get up for a stroll.
Blood for Dracula
Blood for Dracula is the quasi-sequel to Paul Morrissey’s Flesh for Frankenstein. Udo Kier returns in the title role as a sickly Count Dracula on the prowl for “wirgins” to marry and take their blood so he can survive. Arno Juerging is again the servant of the title monster, but this time a little more assertive in handling his ailing master. Convinced by his servant to load up the coffin and head to Italy, the count stumbles upon a down at the heels aristocratic family with four daughters for him to choose from. Unfortunately for the count, Joe Dallesandro is a man servant on the estate who’s been seeing to it that some of the sisters no longer have virgin blood.
And this time around, we get Udo out of his shirt, too.
The Lair
The Lair is the vampire version of Dante’s Cove. The Lair gives us a coven of gay vampires chomping on all the cute, young guys in town. A young journalist (David Moretti) tries to find out why all the unsolved murders are happening, including an attack on his boyfriend who’s ended up in the hospital. Throw in a couple of gay porn idols (Colton Ford as the sheriff, Michael von Steel as a victim).
