Judas Kiss sees Zach (Charlie David), a mediocre filmmaker, return to his alma mater to judge a student film competition. An unexplained glitch in time sends him unknowingly back as a judge for this own competition when he was a younger college student (Richard Harmon). He gets a chance to change his own life by changing the outcome of the competition which he orignially won.
Bump! South America
Bump! is a gay travel show. Hosted by Charlie David, it visits vacation spots and highlights where to find gay and lesbian attractions. Hotels, restaurants, night life and of course shopping. Now on DVD, the South America edition goes to Buenos Aires, SÃ¥o Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro as Charlie finds spots to cruise hot guys, learn to dance and relax by the pool with a hot travel agent, Bryan Herb. If you enjoy the Travel Channel and such, this is a diverting video.
Mulligans
In Mulligans, Tyler (Derek Baynham) brings his best friend Chase (Charlie David) home from college for the summer. When Chase gets tired of Tyler trying to fix him up with the local bimbos, he finally lets his buddy know that he’s gay. But Chase isn’t the only one as we learn that Nathan (Dan Payne), Tyler’s dad, also has feelings he’s kept hidden during his marriage to Stacy (Thea Gill). The two aren’t as discreet as they should be and the family has to come to grips with the fallout.
A Four Letter Word
Luke (Jesse Archer) is a, well, “free spirited” gay man who spends his evenings on “manhunts” with his friends. He runs into Stephen (Charlie David, from “Dante’s Cove”) at a bar who calls him a “gay cliche.” The two have another encounter and start to fall for one each other. Meantime, Luke’s co-worker, at a gay sex shop, Zeke (Cory Grant) discovers Stephen’s hustliing ad. The movie also follows Luke’s friends Peter (Steven Goldsmith) and Derek (J.R. Rolley) who’ve just moved in together and are working through their relationship with Peter being a control freak and Derek just wanting to be left to be himself. “A Four Letter Word” is a semi-sequel to Caspar Andreas’ “Slutty Summer.”
Dante’s Cove
Dante’s Cove, the gay Dark Shadows (although I don’t remember Barnabas (Jonathan Frid) getting nekkid with Dr. Julia Hoffman (Grayson Hall)). Dante’s Cove starts with a lover’s spat between Grace (Tracy Scoggins) and Ambrosius (William Gregory Lee) in the 1840’s. Turns out Grace is a witch and doesn’t take kindly to finding Ambrosius getting boffed by his butler just before their wedding. Grace proceeds to go all red eyed and turn the butler to toast. She then proceeds to tie Ambrosius up in the basement and slap a curse on him.
We then come to the present day for a little soft core porn with Tobey (Charlie David) and Kevin (Gregory Michael). After much frolicing on the beach and in the bedroom, Kevin leaves home and moves in with Tobey in the haunted hotel Dante. Kevin gets lured down to the basement of the hotel and inadvertantly frees the imprisoned Ambrosuis.
The DVD cover proclaims this a “guilty pleasure” which just about sums it up. Lots of eye candy, little to take seriously, but not bad all in all.
