Jay Wong & James Marks
Under One Roof tells the tale of Daniel, a Chinese-American gay man (Jay Wong) who lives with his mother (who’s studiously ingnoring his protests that he’s not going to get married and give her grandkids). They rent out their basement room to Robert, a young caucasion guy (James Marks) who Daniel starts to find attractive. While Daniel is away, the sewer pipes break downstairs and mom moves Robert into Daniel’s room. Has a few funny moments.
Alexis Arquette
Alexis Arquette is a gay artist in Never Met Picasso. His uncle (Alvin Epstein) is also a gay artist, the love of whose life went off to war many years ago. Then there’s his actress mother (Margot Kidder) who has a lesbian affair. This was watchable, but I really didn’t take much away from it.
Connor Trinneer
Connor Trinneeras Chief Engineer Trip Tucker on Star Trek Enterprise. The blue uderwear sure beats the old “red shirts.” Sorry Scotty. . . .

Alexis Arquette & Christian Maelen
In I Think I Do, Alexis Arquette and Tuc Watkins are a gay couple who attend the wedding of some of Arquette’s old college friends. Along the way, Christian Maelen shows up as Arquette’s old straight college roommate who he had a major crush on. Seems the whole straight thing might’ve been just a phase.
Heights
There’s an excellent cast in Heights. James Marsden is getting married but trying to keep his fiance (Elizabeth Banks) and her mother (Glenn Close) from finding out about the risque pictures he posed for years ago from a reporter (John Light) or from the exhibit of the photographer’s work that’s just come to town. Not to mention the guy (Jesse Bradford) he meets for trysts on the rooftop of their apartment building.
