In 1960’s Argentina, Angel (Eduardo Noriega) and Nene (Leonardo Sbaraglia) meet in a men’s room and become lovers in Burnt Money. They are known as “The Twins” not because they look alike but they are always seen together and always work together on the criminal jobs they take. One day, a heist goes bad and Angel gets shot. They go on the run from the law and into hiding. As Angel recovers, the voices Angel has always heard get worse; the enforced hiding gets to be too much, and Nene thinks about straying from Angel. Based on a true story, the film gets lots of gun play and blood before the end.
