Ghostwriter is a dark comedy wherein Jonathan (Alan Cumming) is a music teacher longing for fame and fortune. He takes in Sebastian (David Boreanaz), a struggling writer, and has visions of being his mentor / muse with a tinge of romantic interest. It seems Sebastian is leading him on and taking advantage of him. Finally, Jonathan snaps and ends up accidentally killing the younger man. Jonathan then proceeds to cash in on Sebastian’s novel only to find himself haunted by the dead writer. With appearances by Ann Heche, Karen Black, Carrie Fisher and Henry Thomas (Elliott from E.T.)
Possible spoilers (and scantily clad David) after the jump.

Crutch, “based on a true story”, tells the story of David (Eben Gordon) whose home life is falling apart with a philandering father and an alcoholic mother. David falls under the spell of his acting teacher Kenny (Rob Moretti – actor, writer, and director of the film). The controlling Kenny at first provides an escape from David’s family, but his situation doesn’t improve as he spirals down into drug abuse and confusion over his relationship with Kenny.
